Cyclerides.com Weekly Update
Wow! What a great Memorial Day Weekend for riding coming up. Mid 90's all week and cooling down at nights will make for some great Day Trips around the State and a pleasant re-entry into the Valley. Unfortunately for me, I did such a good job with my tree trimming a couple of weeks ago that Mrs. C. decided that a long awaited full scale assault of Real Estate Enhancement projects were in order. She took the week off, called in reinforcements from Kansas (her parents) and put a locating ankle bracelet on me so that I couldn't get too far away. My idea of a good Memorial Day weekend was taking a ride to Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon or an overnighter to Bisbee and Tombstone. But instead, it is has been painting the outside of the house, general fix up and now staring at 10 tons of rock in the driveway. All of this to prepare for the High School Graduation party for Lil Ms. C. this weekend. The only motorcycle riding I will be doing are those short trips to Home Depot for something that I forgot the first 5 times I was there. You always want to "forget" one little thing so that you have the excuse to ride the bike back to get it.
That is my story, but I'm sure a lot of you will be putting some good miles on your bike this weekend. I would like to start a picture page for all of you that take trips around the State or even the Country, to share your adventure with other riders. What I would like to see are pictures with you and/or your bike next to a sign, a well known part of Americana or a famous landscape of where you have ridden to. For instance, a picture next to the Grand Canyon sign like this, or next to a park sign or any other points of interest that you would like to share with other riders. Include just a little explanation of where it is. I will then compile all of those that I get and add to them throughout the Summer as we all take our trips. So if you have any good ones to get us started, or are going some place this weekend, take your digital camera and place yourself next to something interesting and share with the rest of us where you have been. It will be fun to see where everyone has gone. Email your photos to email@example.com .
