Cyclerides.com Weekly Update
3/25/09
Greetings Riders,
The weather is great and it is time to start thinking about getting the bike out
of the garage and enjoying our prime time of the year for exploring
our beautiful State on 2 wheels. If you missed last week's newsletter, Click Here for a report on
a great ride to Roosevelt Lake that you can do on your own during bike week.
Well, it's that time of year again. We are only a couple of days away from motorcycles
being the talk of the Valley for the next 10 days. Arizona Bike Week
Pre-Rally Days begin on Friday, March 27th with big parties at Chester's Harley-Davidson featuring hometown favorite
Mogollon and The Charlie Daniels Band at the Backstage Biker Bash, also on Friday Hacienda Hacienda Harley-Davidson will
be hosting UFC Rage in the Cage along with Live Music. Saturday will continue with the all day and
night Old Skool Biker Bash at Western Trails Ranch and The 5th Annual Bike Week Bash at Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson where
Scott Pasmore and Myself will be judges of the Bikini Contest at 3:30pm. The night party is the Miss Arizona
Bike Week competition back at Chester's in Mesa. These events alone will keep you busy, but check the events below
to see some highlighted events of the week or go to www.azbikeweek.com for ALL of the
events. Check www.cyclerides.com for all other events that are not a part of Bike Week.
This is a busy time for me, so the next couple of letters will be more brief than usual
and focused on Bike Week activities. Mrs. C. and I will be making the
rounds on Friday and Saturday so we hope to see and say Hi to a lot of you that we have not seen for a while.
I will try to take some pictures in my travels to include next week as well as an aerial view of Cyclefest.
The letter will be out next Tuesday evening as we will be riding in the Stubbs Wednesday Ride.
Once again, I look forward to seeing and visiting with you over the next several days.
Be sure and stop to say Hi!
Be extra careful as you ride this week. Cars aren't used to seeing this
many bikes in town. Also, motorcycle theft is at an all time high during bike week, be sure to secure your bike
as best you can.
Have Fun and Be Safe,
Barry
