This week I wanted to update you on 3 Special events that you might want to participate in over the next week.

SPECIAL EVENT! This Thursday Night.

The Bike Night at Tempe Marketplace is proud to host the FIRST PUBLIC VIEWING of the "KISS" Theme Bike built by Paul Yaffe's Bagger Nation. This is a completely one off custom commissioned by the band KISS that will join them on their final tour. Be the first to see this amazing bike in person. The detail on this bike is incredible! Includes a light show and plays KISS Greatest Hits. The engraving and use of lighted paint is incredible! Stop by and see it from 5-9PM. Paul will be there to answer your questions.
Only 2 Nights Left of this season! Some had commented that the venue was too dark. That has all changed and you will be amazed to see the NEW Lighting! Stop by and check out the KISS bike Thursday night. Click Here to see the Concept Drawing of the Bike. Seeing the bike in person you can pick out all of the hidden features. LIVE MUSIC this week with crowd favorites "Broken Toys Band" and next week with "Skarlett Fever".

Saturday Morning, Nov. 10th
Flag Raising at Thunderbird Mountain.
A couple of weeks ago I wrote the article about what it took to get the flag approved to be permanently planted on Thunderbird Mountain. Click Here to Read that article. This Saturday is the day that it is finally going to happen and you can still participate in this historic event. The community is invited to participate in a human chain to carry (hand-over-hand) the flag to the newly installed flag pole at Arrowhead Point, where it will be permanently displayed as a point of pride for residents and visitors alike. This event coincides with Veterans Day weekend, and pays tribute to those who have served and are serving in the US Armed Services. It will be followed by a flyover and lunch. Click Here for current details on how to participate. Should be a very patriotic event to watch the flag go up the mountain to permanently fly over the Valley.

Wednesday, Nov. 14th Bike Night on High Street in Association with Ride AZ Promotions. High St. is located in North Phoenix at 56th St. and Deer Valley Rd. just North of the Loop 101 at 56th St. Exit. This is formerly known as City North which is just East of Desert Ridge Mall. We will be closing down the street to make it motorcycle only parking. (See the Photos of High Street here) There will be vendors on the street with DJ music, and Live Music at High & Rye as well as the Blue Martini for you to enjoy while you are there. For those of you that are familiar with the band Mogollon, it is interesting that one of the current players of Mogollon, Duane Moore will be playing at the Blue Martini with Kristi Dee, and one of the former members of Mogollon, George Brunson, will be playing at High & Rye with Casey Killian of Crown Kings. All taking place from 5:30 - 9:30PM. So you can see both acts in one night with just a short stroll down the street. There will be Food and Drink specials at both places.  You can also visit one of the many other restaurants on High Street including several outdoor patios for you to hang out with your riding buddies.

It should be a very fun night and the weather is supposed to be great! At this time it is a "One Time Event". However, if there is good interest in it, we might make it a regular event starting the first of next year. Ride by and join us on Wednesday, Nov. 14th to help us kick this new bike night off. Click Here for more information and details on the Food and Drink specials. See ya there!

This is first time since 2011 that we have done a bike night in the East Valley and I am excited to be bringing it back. We will be riding into Tempe Marketplace for 10 consecutive weeks on Thursday nights starting on September 13th and ending on November 15th.
This is a fantastic venue conveniently located at the Loop 101 & 202. We will utilize the street and courtyard area in the center of Tempe Marketplace and will be able to cruise through and park our motorcycles on the street that is normally closed to traffic. There is a built in stage, tables, umbrellas and misters in the area that will keep you cool.

Dave and Busters has a great 2nd story patio that overlooks the road and band that you will be able to hang out in and watch the bikes cruise through. For those of you that have not been to Westgate, I like to call it the "Times Square of the Desert" that presents a great venue for a bike night that has been going on for 10 years as one of the biggest bike nights in the Southwest. Cruise and park on Coyote Blvd. next to the fountains, then visit the vendors and grab something to eat and drink at one of the many restaurants. Stay tuned for the food and drink specials. I look forward to getting this started again to provide a great place to ride to on Fridays nights. Ride in on Friday, September 7th to help us kick it off for the season. See you there!
