Cyclerides.com Weekly
Update
9/12/12
Greetings Riders,
Well, it looks like my intentions turned out to be bigger than my abilities
this week.
My goal was to bring you the details of our ride to
Telluride, the Gateway Auto Museum and Durango this week. But with over 600
photos to go through, many new events to be posted to the web site and 3 bike
nights starting up in the next week including the Cyclerides.com
Westgate Bike Night presented by Arrowhead
Harley and Ridenow Powersports this Thursday, Mixteca Mexican Friday
Bike Night this Friday and
Mad Dog Saloon on Tuesday, I
just ran out of time for the ride editorial. Since I am not one to do anything
half way, I have decided to put that off till next week to give it the time and
effort that these new ride nuggets deserve. Hopefully it will be worth the wait.
Until I can get this story done for next week,
here are
12 awesome pictures that you can enjoy in the meantime.

updates.
But for now I am wrapping up the finishing touches to kick off the bike
night at Westgate this Thursday.
It is hard to believe that we will
be completing our 4th year of this bike night. It has been fun to watch it grow
over the years and to be a part of providing a fun and enjoyable place for
riders to go on Thursday nights to enjoy live music, good fun and a place to
catch up with your riding buddies. As you probably know, there will be 10 nights
this season from September 13th – November 15th. We will have special guests
throughout the season. This week we are featuring the works of Bourget’s Bike
Works as well as previewing their new Rogue Bikes line in conjunction with
Sinister Industries. Live Band this week is crowd favorite “Kung Fu Grip”. Look
forward to seeing you there. My buddy Scott Pasmore of TV 3 did a nice spot on
Bike Night this morning. Click Here
to View.
For those on the West side I am starting a Friday Bike Night this week at
Mixteca Mexican located at
67th and Bell Rd. Live Music, motorcycle parking, outdoor patio and grill, food
and drink specials. Stop by to help us kick it off Friday, September 14th 6-10
PM. See details below.
And Tuesday night September 18th
Mad Dog Saloon will be starting
bike night again
for the season with Raffle Prizes, Retro Pin-Up
Models and a 50/50 raffle to benefit Bikers Against Diabetes. Food and drink
specials including $1.00 Tacos. See details below.
Bike Nights
September 13th – November 15th
Well, it is that time of year again. The weather is starting to cool down
and bike night season is upon us.
We will begin Thursday night,
September 13th with the Cyclerides.com Westgate Bike Night presented by Arrowhead Harley-Davidson and Ridenow Powersports. Once
again we will do 10 Thursday nights for the Fall season running from September
13th – November 15th from 5 pm – 9 pm.
To kick off bike night this
season we will be featuring the newest creations of
Bourget’s Bike Works and a
preview of their new Rogue Baggers Line in association with
John Shope’s Sin Industries. Enjoy Live Music with crowd favorite “Kung
Fu Grip” featuring their silky smooth blend of Classic and Contemporary
Rock. If you haven’t seen these guys before, you are in for a real treat. They
are an excellent band with a wide variety of music.
I am really excited to kick off
the
Cyclerides.com Westgate Bike
Night presented by Arrowhead HD and Ridenow Powersports again this year and
look forward to seeing all of my bike night friends again.
So grab
your riding buddies and stop by to help me kick it off on Thursday,
September 13th! Should be a fun night and a great season as we have top
notch bands and special attractions planned for you along the way. Plan on
making the trip out to help us get started on another bike night season.

Cottonwood joined forces with Cliff Castle Casino Hotel by giving the event a
new home OLD TOWN COTTONWOOD. Thunder Valley Rally is sure to bring motorcycle
enthusiasts from all over the state of Arizona, Utah, California, Nevada and
Colorado. Bikers and non-bikers alike are sure to be entertained. The three day
Thunder Valley Rally will begin Friday afternoon with the Barley and Grapes Ride

through the wine country of Page Springs, and of course making stops along the
way for a bit of tasting. The run will end by returning to Old Town Cottonwood
so you can enjoy live music on the street, vendors and some Old Town
charm.
Saturday will offer the Thunder Valley Rally Poker Run,

Canyon along 89A into Flagstaff and back down Lake Mary Road near Mormon Lake
