Cyclerides.com Weekly
Update
9/5/12
Greetings Riders,
Welcome back to all who used this past long weekend to get out on the open
road for a 3 or 4 day trip. Mrs. C. and I did just that
as we
headed out to Telluride, the Gateway Car Museum, Million Dollar Highway to
Durango and a loop through New Mexico on our way home. 1510 miles in 3 1/2 days.
We saw some beautiful sights in Colorado, an awesome automobile museum and
traveled some epic unknown new roads that I can’t wait to tell you about. We got
back Monday around noon and there was not enough time to get this story ready
for you by today, so I will bring you the editorial, pictures and maps of the
trip and these new roads in the letter next week. We found out that there is
more than one way to get to Durango, and it is great. Can’t wait to share with
you. I have posted a few on the Cyclerides.com Facebook. Click Here to
View. You can see them even if you don’t do
Facebook. If you do, “Like” the page and see all of my posts in the future.

Well, it is that time of year again. The weather is starting to cool down
and bike night season is upon us.
We will begin next Thursday
night, September 13th with the Cyclerides.com
Westgate Bike Night this Fall being presented
by Arrowhead Harley-Davidson and Ridenow Powersports. Once again we will do 10
Thursday nights for the Fall season running from September 13th – November 15th
from 5 pm – 9 pm.
If you have been to Westgate for
a bike night in the past, you know the setting. In the midst of all
the lights, billboards and 30'x50' LED Video screen, Westgate has created the
feel of “Times Square in the Desert” and on Thursdays
it transforms into a mini Sturgis. Coyote Blvd., located adjacent to
the $6 million dancing fountains will be blocked off for motorcycles only, as
well as the entire events plaza and everywhere else you can find a place to park
your bike. If critical mass creates energy, we have it here. Then throw in some
Live Music with top notch bands, Vendors, Bright Lights, Video, Dancing
Fountains, Happening Bars and Restaurants with outdoor patios like Saddleranch,
McFaddens, Margaritaville, Cactus Jacks and the Shout House, add the roar of a
thousand motorcycles, and you've got yourself a party every Thursday
night.
To kick off bike night this
season we will be featuring the newest creations of
Bourget’s Bike Works and a
preview of their new Rogue Baggers Line in association with
John Shope’s Sin Industries. Enjoy Live Music with crowd favorite “Kung
Fu Grip” featuring their silky smooth blend of Classic and Contemporary
Rock. If you haven’t seen these guys before, you are in for a real treat. They
are an excellent band with a wide variety of music.
I am really excited to kick off
the
Cyclerides.com Westgate Bike
Night presented by Arrowhead HD and Ridenow Powersports again this year and
look forward to seeing all of my bike night friends again.
So grab
your riding buddies and stop by to help me kick it off on Thursday,
September 13th! Should be a fun night and a great season as we have top
notch bands and special attractions planned for you along the way. Plan on
making the trip out to help us get started on another bike night season.

will run every Friday night. Mixteca is located at 6731 West Bell Rd. in
Glendale, AZ. This is on the SW corner of 67th Ave. and Bell Rd. in front of the

side. There is a large outdoor patio where they will be cooking fresh tacos and
hamburgers as well as anything off of the menu. There will be Live Music, Drink
including domestic, import beer and margarita’s. Great selection of food
including American Food, Sea Food and Mexican Specialties. Click Here for Menu.
Food and Drink specials and plenty of waitresses to take care of
you.
Billy, the owner of Mixteca is going all out to welcome bikers
including blocking off a huge parking area for motorcycles only. I have
personally eaten here. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is perfect for
bike night with motorcycles parked right in front of the patio. Join me on
