Greetings Riders,

Well, what can I say? By the looks of the past week and the future forecast, we are solidly into the HOT part of Summer in the Valley of the Blow Dryer. The impending heat is the water cooler talk as it probably should be. The last shred of hope from us that try to ignore it was the fact that it was, “at least it is cooling down in the evenings”. That appears to soon be going away too. So what do we do now if we want to ride our motorcycles? We either deal with it, or point the front wheel to cooler places. Starting next week I will give you some quick getaway’s to take a ride and beat the heat. In the meantime, maybe a little humor can take your mind off of it for a minute or two.

1. You no longer associate rivers or bridges with water.

2. The water coming from the "cold" tap is hotter than that from the hot" tap.

3. You know that you can make sun tea outside faster than instant tea in your microwave.

**Announcing the Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Museum is now open 6 days a week! Hours are Monday through Friday from 11AM to 5PM, and Saturdays from 12PM to 5PM. Guided tours will continue to be performed every Saturday at Noon. **Emissions testing for motorcycles update. After June 21st. No more emission testing for motorcycles. The following was taken from the ADEQ Website.

Update: This question has been asked a lot. What if my registration is due now, can I wait till June 21 and not have to have emissions testing? This is from a Cyclerides.com reader. “Even though my registration is due now, I was told by both MVD and Vehicle Emissions that if I wait until after June 21, I will not need to have my motorcycle tested. Here is hoping that is correct. Thanks again for all you have done to keep us informed about this issue.”
