Greetings Riders,

Well, we are back safe and sound from our adventure to the Pacific Coast Highway and Monterey. And what and adventure it was. I was looking for a little relief from the heat, but the first day of this ride took that to the extreme and handed us what I believe was the most brutal, cold, windy, miserable weather that I have ever experienced on a motorcycle. Since it has been a short week and I have been playing catch up, the full story, route and pictures will be in the newsletter next week. In the meantime, see 3 of my favorite pictures from the ride. One of my projects as soon as we returned has been stripping down Mrs. C’s new bike for paint. All of the parts have now been taken to Chad and C.R. Designs to prepare for the custom paint that will consist of a red metallic with some basic graphics. I have also done a chrome exchange on the stock Street Glide wheels that turned out really nice. **This is an email from Ernie Lizarraga, the Phoenix Firefighter that was injured in the motorcycle crash on Carefree Highway: The second trial for the guy that killed 4 bikers an injured 5 while on methamphetamine and driving a commercial dump truck will start June 11th. The first trial was a mistrial due to him saying on the last day of trial he tested positive from diet pills and the state did not have time to prove him wrong. The Judge said he can not say that in the second trial. I will be on the witness stand June 12, the Judge said he can’t use the diet pill story because its "A LIE". Let’s hope justice is finally done this time.

**Was anyone else hooked on the History Channel’s 3 night series on the “Hatfield’s and McCoy’s? What a great 6 hours of television about a piece of Americana. Kevin Costner was great as Devil Anse Hatfield. Good job History Channel! Catch the re-runs if you can.

Mad Dog Saloon Tuesday Bike Night in Mesa. I am really excited about Mad Dog Saloon as it is a perfect stand alone bike night location with a huge patio. For those of you that live in the area you will recognize it as the former Salty Senorita’s. The patio is huge with an outdoor bar, the inside is huge as well with garage doors that open to the outside and TV’s everywhere you look. And plenty of motorcycle parking. Mesa Riverview Bike Night. The bike night at Mesa Riverview is now back! Over 100 Bikes last week.

Cactus Moon, Matta’s Grill & Cantina and Chili’s are combining for bike night this season. The venue is going to be a little different this time as they are under construction of Main St., but we were able to use the street between Cactus Moon and Matta’s for the Live Band and bike parking as well as the street behind Cactus Moon for bike parking.
